The Story Behind the Design
This beautiful design titled Gulpaga meaning Waterhole in Yorta Yorta language represents water and the spiritual connection we have with water for drinking, food sources and swimming, and home of our fish and turtles.
- This beautiful rug measures 2 metres in diameter with an 8mm nylon loop pile with non-slip thermoplastic rubber backing. Not only is the Gulpaga’ Waterhole rug practical, it also promotes cultural awareness for children to further their learning about Indigenous Australia. These stunning rugs honour indigenous owned businesses, local artistic talent and the continued respect for our Traditional Land Owners. Profits from each item sold helps to directly support the artist.
