These charming little people have been designed to invite play but not dictate it, perfect for endless opportunities of open-ended play. They have been designed to represent different skin tones, helping children identify with the figures and see themselves in play. They have a warmth to them, despite not having a facial expression, inviting children to project emotions and stories onto them as they play. Characters can be sad, happy, furious, shy, jealous or any other emotion in between.
This set invites children to engage in imaginative play as they practise their storytelling and language skills through role-play. Inviting a friend to play with them promotes collaboration and emotional and social skills. As well as evolving their building fine motor and dexterity skills.
