They are durable enough to be used in sand, water and outdoor play. Each pebble is engraved and painted and will not fade over time. Using the letter and sound phases, this set contains the foundational single letter phonics from phase 2, double letter phonics from phase 3 and the most common alternative spelling phonics from phase 5. These pebbles create a playful way to introduce children to phoneme recognition and CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) word-building.
