About Sheep
Sheep are herbivores that eat vegetation such as grass. The digestive system of sheep features four chambers which help break down what they eat.
Sheep like to stay close to others in a herd which makes them easier to move together to new pastures.
Sheep have a field of vision of around 300 degrees, allowing them to see behind themselves without having to turn their head.
A group of sheep is known as a herd, flock or mob.
Adult female sheep are known as ewes, adult male sheep are known as rams and young sheep are called lambs.
About Bulls
A bull is an adult male bovine that can still be a father. Farmers usually keep only a few bulls around the farm because they are larger and more aggressive than the female cows. One bull can father calves (baby cows) with many different cows. For this reason, farmers often take special care to feed their bulls healthy diets.
The bull plays a significant role in both beef and dairy farming.
