Outdoor Timber Blocks -Small - 19pc

This 19 piece set is made from oiled pine and suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Lifting, carrying and placing the blocks will engage children’s large muscle movement as they coordinate and balance their bodies. The large wood blocks will encourage group constructions where children will have the opportunity to practice their language and social skills as they plan, delegate and work collaboratively to create.

The blocks can be used to compliment imaginative play and inquiry experiences.  The hollow timber blocks can be a cave or a tunnel for animals and cars, the ramp blocks can inspire investigations of force, angle and speed as balls and cars are rolled down them.
