Tips & ideas

The size of this A-frame encourages younger children to engage their larger muscles as they practice standing, balancing and the coordination required for climbing. As children’s confidence increases, the addition of a simple walkboard or ladder can encourage further explorations as an obstacle course is constructed.

This low A-frame can also be used to encourage children's scientific thinking.  With the addition of a small ramp, children can explore how different shaped objects roll down, exploring concepts such as motion, force and trajectory.
